Anyway I found it quite funny but the fact that there is so much drugs going on is terrifying. All the thausends of kilos of cocaine the police found – were destroyed. Yeah for sure.. Probably the first time that it was snowing in the Caribic.
Also a friend of us died – no I don’t mean Michael Jackson ( but I am sorry about that too, I am sure the birth-rate will raise rapidly :) )
I mean a diver who dived with us a long time. He died back home in Switzerland – got a heartattack during diving. Only 35 years old.
That makes you think even more.
I have so many plans but how much more time do I have??
The time of earning money is a totally waste – I just want to spend money while seeing the world!
Then the day came when Honduras lost his president. He got overthrown by the army cause of several reasons and he whisked away to Costa Rica. In the same moment Venezuela’s president Chavez positioned troups on the boarder to Honduras – ready to support him.
It´s quite a big deal for the people in Honduras, for us the live just went on – as usual.
Didn’t take long when they invented curfews.
The last time I had a cerfew when I was 14 ( or so.. ) and even then I broke it. ( rules are there to brake it , right? ) So even the 18:30 o´ clock curfews couldn’t stop us from partying.
For sure, my last week on Roatan and we have bloody curfews!!

Finally the biggest news : I became a divemaster! After weeks of work ( well diving every day hey ) partying ( I need a detox ) hang overs ( ohhhh jeah... ) and lots of fun. It was an awesome time, I loved it a lot. I will never forget it and wish I could do it again. I learned a lot and the Coconut Tree Team is awesome and very professional.
My mentor Rags made me having a spontaneous speech on the deck in front of at least 40 divers after everybody congratulated me. It was great.
I also survived my snorkel test, which means they put at least 1 liter of booze into your snorkel and you have to swallow it all… I couln´t finish these massive fluids but finally I am a REAL Divemaster! We had a nice Hippy party in our apartment full with people
( who watched my and Dimitri´s Snorkeltest - they must have loved the part when the fluids came trough my nose ... :) ) and lots of fun.

The last week I was just fundiving, amazing dives, gosh I will miss that so much!!
TEXAS - INCREDIBLE
I will miss that place a lot.
I will miss the warm ocean, the hot air, the beautiful beaches, the endless party´s, the rum, safety stops during sunset, the typico breakfast, the sharks @ Waihuka, the small wooden apartment and most of all – the people.
I won´t miss: THE BLOODY SANDFLIES!
My friend Tati invited me for another , last, shark dive – my last last last dive on Roatan.
I can´t belive this chapter is over OVER.....
For me, Life goes on, in the next chapter – just in another place in paradise - Australia!
Love ya all guys!
